NEW ASSISTANT CLINICAL DIRECTOR: Lauren Gargano, LCSW will be stepping in to partner with Christine Grounds in running the clinic. Lauren Gargano, LCSW is a graduate of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program at T.I. She is currently in private practice in Chelsea, and has been teaching interns and students at T.I. for the last several years. She is very excited to be expanding her role at the Training Institute, and is looking forward to working more with faculty and students. Please join us in welcoming Lauren!

MIND BODY CENTER: Announcing the official launch of TI's newest program! The Mind Body Center is dedicated to bridging psychoanalytic theories with eastern philosophies and mindfulness practices for an integrated approach to mental and physical wellness. Please contact Kristin Wynn (kristin@timh.org) if you have questions about programming and/or if you would like to be part of the Mind Body organizing committee. Upcoming events include:

o Restorative Yoga with Shanna Salmon (for TI therapists and staff) - Fridays at 12:00 PM - beginning April 7:   Shanna is a 200RYT certified through the Yoga Alliance who has been practicing yoga for more than six years. As a Patient Coordinator at TI, Shanna would love to teach and share the benefits of Restorative Yoga to the community.  This style of yoga is known to be wonderful for combating stress, encouraging mindfulness, and increasing mental health.  Each week, the classroom will transform into a meditative and mindful space for 45 minutes of relaxation.

o Silent Sitting Meditation (for therapists and staff) - Tuesdays at 1:00 PM at Jason Kurtz's office

o Meditation for Mental Wellness: An Introductory Practice Lab (open to all) - Saturdays at 4:00 PM - March 18-April 15
