The Training Institute for Mental Health offers training programs for professionals who wish to enhance their understanding and deepen their skill in individual psychoanalysis, couples therapy, group therapy, and the supervision of the psychoanalytic process.
Our training encompasses drive theory, object relations theory, ego psychology, self psychology, and relational psychology. We believe that every clinician has their own style and brings unique strengths to this work.
Our goal is not to mold a student into our version of an analyst, but to help each person find their own voice within this broad and ever-evolving field. Classes offer an in depth examination of psychoanalytic theories, which is combined with the clinical experiences of our students and faculty.
