As therapists and/or caregivers, we often hold space and give our attention to others who are suffering and in need of support. With the demands of daily life, it can be difficult to do the same for ourselves.
Silent meditation is an opportunity to create space for ourselves, to practice grounding and being present with whatever is arising in the moment. It is with this in mind, and with the goal of supporting each other in a group setting, that we would like to offer a weekly meditation at TI.
Whether you currently have a mindfulness meditation practice or are looking to try it for the first time, please feel free to join us for silent sitting meditation at TI. We will meet on Tuesdays from 1pm to 2pm, beginning October 18th.
If you have any questions, please email Jason Kurtz (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Kristin Wynn (email@example.com).
