In 2005, Doctors Anna Keefe and Wilma Cohen Lewis founded The Women's Center (TWC) at TI -- the first center of its kind to be established at a psychoanalytic institute. TWC's mission is to understand women's development from a relational, cultural and psychoanalytic perspective. The goal of TWC is to treat women specifically and to provide public education to the community on a wide variety of women's development issues from adolescence through adulthood, motherhood, mid-life and beyond. We hold groups, workshops, seminars and symposiums, which address the various issues pertaining to women at the different stages of their lives.
