Training Institute for Mental Health 2018 Annual Benefit.

Honoring:

John Scroope, LCSW, for his outstanding service, dedication, volunteerism and leadership to the agency and the mental health field.

Marge Othrow, who will receive the first-ever “Paula Fortunato Award”, awarded to a TI staff member whose contributions are vital to the agency’s day-to-day success. 

This evening’s entertainment will feature an instrumental quartet consisting of members of the SUNY Stony Brook music department. The quartet is comprised of an oboist, clarinetist, cellist, and a pianist, who will perform the work, ‘After Scheherezade’, by Murray Cohen. The music is a fanciful composition in homage to Nicholas Rimsky Korsakoff’s famous orchestral work, ’Scheherezade’. 

Hor d’oeuuvres and wine will be served throughout the event.

Tickets for the Benefit are $100 each and the proceeds will be donated to the Training Institute to support its clinical and training programs.
